📥 How to Save Your Calculation
If you have finished a calculation or need to take a break and continue later, follow these steps:
- Click "Save (.hsb)": Located in the top menu bar.
- Automatic Backup: The calculator will immediately gather all your vessel details, laytime terms, and log entries.
- Download: Your browser will download a single small file to your computer.
Tip: The file is automatically named after your Vessel and
Voyage (e.g., Ocean_Star_V123_...hsb) so you can find it easily later.
📤 How to Load a Previous Calculation
If you want to view, update, or finish an old calculation, follow these steps:
- Click "Load (.hsb)": Located in the top menu bar.
- Select Your File: A window will open on your computer. Find and select the .hsb file you saved previously.
- Instant Restore: The calculator will instantly "read" that file and fill in all the blanks on the screen for you.
Result: Every name, date, and time log will reappear
exactly as you last saved them, ready for you to continue.
