Art Shipyard, established by the Besiktas Group, operates in Tuzla Bay, Turkey, a well-established hub for ship repair. They specialize in servicing various ship sizes, including Panamax vessels. The shipyard offers two main docking facilities. Facility 1 features two floating docks: one with a lifting capacity of 20,000 tons and a length of 230 meters, and the other with a capacity of 13,500 tons and a length of 180 meters. Both facilities offer a maximum draft of 7.5 meters and crane capacities of 2 x 20 tons. Facility 2 provides additional lay-by berths with varying lengths and depths, supported by the jib and tower cranes.

Its facilities include a VLCC size floating dock with a lifting capacity of 109,000 tons, 1,000 meters of length capacity for berthing and afloat repairs, 5 workshops for steel cutting, machinery, and prefabrication works, along with a 100-ton floating crane, a 30-ton floating crane, 50 cherry pickers, and 86 blasting nozzles.

Gemak Tuzla Shipyard, established in 1969, is one of Turkey’s leading ship maintenance, repair, and conversion yards. It relocated to Tuzla, Istanbul, in 1981 and currently employs around 1,000 workers. Situated in the Tuzla bay region, it covers a total area of 45,000 square meters, including 16,000 square meters of enclosed space and 29,000 square meters of open facilities. The shipyard features two floating docks, a floating crane with a 100-ton lifting capacity, and various workshops for machining, mechanics, pipe work, sheet metal, and electrical services. Its facilities also include a Panamax floating dock, a Handymax dock, and a 421-meter pier length. Equipped with cranes ranging from 100-ton floating crane to several jib cranes with lifting capacities of up to 30 tons, Gemak Tuzla has an annual ship repair capacity of 2,100,000 DWT and can process 10,000 tons of steel per annum. Additionally, it can handle painting works covering 20,000 square meters per day. The shipyard accommodates various vessels for repair and conversion, including offshore platforms, tankers, Ro-Ro ships, bulk carriers, and tugboats. Gemak Tuzla Shipyard also specializes in different types of conversions, such as product tankers, general cargo ships, and Ro-Ro ships.

Situated in Tuzla Aydınlı Bay, the Hidrodinamik Shipyard facility boasts a total area of 25,000 square meters, comprising 5,000 square meters of closed spaces and 20,000 square meters of open areas. Equipped with 3 slipways, 1 floating dock, and a pier spanning 750 meters in total, the facility accommodates vessels of up to 30,000 DWT on the pier and up to 9,000 DWT on the drydock and slipways. With a ship maintenance and repair capacity reaching 20 million DWT since its inception, the facility efficiently handles 20 ships simultaneously and services an average of 150 ships annually. Inaugurated in 2008, the 130-meter-long and 16-meter-wide drydock specializes in drydocking and surface repairs of ships up to 9,000 DWT. Supported by a 2*5-ton crane, the drydock boasts a lifting capacity of 3,000 tons, ensuring seamless operations and quality service.

RMK Marine specializes in providing comprehensive solutions across several sectors, including commercial and naval vessels up to 28,000 DWT and 196 meters in length, as well as aluminum and steel super yachts up to 80 meters, and composite super yachts up to 40 meters. With one of the largest areas among private shipyards in Turkey, RMK Marine boasts an expansive infrastructure, encompassing a total land area of 95,243 m², including 30,746 m² of closed area. The shipyard has an annual steel processing capacity of 10,636 tons and features a slipway measuring 170 meters by 60 meters.
